Sir/Madam,

This has referenece to the CBSE circular No. 3/10 dated 18/10/2010 and subsequent reminder vide Circular No. 88/2011 dated 5/12/2011 requesting all the schools to develop their own website contating comprehensive information about the school and its management. The information to be provided on the website of the school incldes affiliation status, detail of infrastructure, names and designation of teachers, class-wise enrolment of students, address-postal and email, telephone Nos., detail of members of the school Managing Committee etc. (Proforma enclosed). For this purpose every school should prepare its annual report containing above information and upload the same on its website before 15th September of every year. This is mandatory as per Rule 8.8(iv) of Affiliation Bye Laws of the Board.

However it has come to the notice of the Board that some of the schools have not yet developed their own website and have no: uploaded the required information on their website. Therefore, to ensure the effective compliance, the Board has now decided to link the compliance by the school with the registration of class IX and class XI candidates of each affiliated school. The defaulter school failing to comply with the above direction will not be able to register their candidates for Boards Examination and responsibility would lie with the school Management.

Besides, school prescribing private publisher's books should also put a declaration on its website as per the directions notified vide Circular No. CBSE/AFF./Circular/2013/629422 dated 26.02.2013 which is also available on CBSE website

All the Managers/Principals of the schools affiliated to the Board are again requested to comply with the above orders with in a period of one month positively from the date of issue of this circular otherwise Board will initiate necessary action against the defaulting schools.
